Weatherization Assistance Program

This program is designed to reduce heating and cooling costs for low-income persons, with priority given to high energy users (the elderly, people with disabilities, and families with children) by improving the energy efficiency of the home and helping ensure health and safety. 

Funding

This program is funded in part by the Department of Energy and/or the Department of Health and Human Services. No repayment is required for the services provided and no liens are filed on the property. Both owners and renters may apply. The program is designed to reduce the energy consumption of the dwelling through the installation of various energy conservation measures.
