The Local Government Advisory Committee (LGAC) was created by the York County Board of Commissioners by resolution. The LGAC is a committee of elected and appointed municipal officials representing the townships and boroughs of York County. The LGAC provides a local government perspective on proposed projects as well as provides a networking and information sharing opportunity for elected and appointed officials on planning issues. The LGAC:
Reviews and makes recommendations on planning projects being conducted by the York County Planning Commission
Reviews and makes recommendations to the York County Planning Commission on proposed plans and ordinances from municipalities
The LGAC meets 8 days prior to the York County Planning Commission meeting, which is normally held the 2rd Monday of each month.
