YCPC makes a variety of reports and inventories available for reference and guidance.

• Planning and Implementation Tools (PDF): This report advises local governments on a variety of tools and techniques available to plan for and manage growth in their communities.
• Planning Perspectives: These newsletters inform the public and York County municipalities on a variety of specific planning topics that affect our area.
• Protecting York County’s Rural Environment (PDF): This report examines trends in the loss of farmland in the County and includes a census of land use tools that help to preserve agricultural land in the County.
• Local Planning Activities (PDF): This document is an up-to-date census of the usage or presence of subdivision and zoning ordinances, comprehensive plans, and planning commissions in York County’s 72 municipalities.
