Data & Analyses
Building Permit Data: Building permit data is compiled on a yearly basis for newly constructed buildings. Reports show data by year, type of building, type of residential building, and/or municipality. Building permit data may not be comprehensive. The majority of municipalities submit building permit data for county reports; however, submission is not required and reports may not reflect information for the county as a whole.
Open Data Portal: York County's Open Data Portal provides free downloads of a variety of GIS data, and provides access to web mapping applications to view tax assessment information, subdivision activity, floodplain locations, and more.
Subdivision Activity: YCPC collects data and publishes annual reports on subdivision & land development activity in the county. Data is available by municipality and for the county as a whole. An online mapping application shows subdivision & land development plans for the last five years and provides digital access to copies of the plans.
